As a not-for-profit organization, the Club depends on volunteers to help the Club run smoothly and keep operating costs down. Whether you are a parent, a friend of a player, or just someone who has time and energy to contribute; your help is always welcome. Some of the areas where you may be able to help include: fundraising, sponsorship, marketing, advertising, coaching, managing a team, organizing special events like the Club tournaments and festivals, accounting, webmaster, etc.

Volunteering consists of three (3) steps:

Step 1 : If you are interested in helping out we need you to register as a member of the Club, please register via the Club’s online registration system (PowerUp).

Step 2 : Once you have completed your online registration you will need to complete and submit a Volunteer Screening Disclosure Form and submit it to the Club General Manager at gm@nepeanhotspurs.ca. The completed form must be emailed, mailed, or dropped off at the Club Office.

Step 3 : Once your Volunteer Application form is received and approved you will be contacted and instructed to pick up a letter that will allow you to get your police record check free of charge. Reference and Police checks are part of the process for volunteers that will be working directly with children. In addition to completing the application, you may also be required to attend an Interview Session with the Club’s Volunteer Screening Committee.
