OFFICE STAFF
Shannon has been with the Hotspurs since 1995, and played until 2021. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Queen's U, and from Algonquin College with an Advanced Diploma in Business Operations. She coached with the Club for 20 years, and has been in the GM role since 2022.

Since joining the Club at the beginning of 2026, Madison has worked across communications, partnership coordination, social media, and marketing. She is a former competitive swimmer who went on to compete at the NCAA Division I level at Cleveland State University. She earned degrees in Marketing and Psychology and spent her final year of university working with ESPN Cleveland.

Since joining the Club at the beginning of 2026, Madison has worked across communications, partnership coordination, social media, and marketing. Jamie grew up playing with the Club from 1996 to 2013. He has worked with the Club since 2004, and five of those years coaching. He has worked as front office staff, equipment manager, logistical support, IT support, etc. He has a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Carleton University.

Marie-Grace Nyinawumuntu

Grace is a senior soccer coach with over 16 years of experience at Academy, Club and National team level. She played for and coached the Rwandan Women's National Team. She plans and delivers structured practice, lead games and support players 'technical and tactical development.

Sean Fleming
Technical Lead
Sean Fleming leads Nepean Hotspurs’ elite coaching staff, supporting coaches who hold or are working toward their National Diploma. A former Canada Soccer national staff coach (1996–2016), Sean is one of Canada’s most accomplished youth coaches, with extensive experience spanning grassroots soccer to international competition.
Career Accolades
- Head Coach of Canada’s U-17 Men’s National Team at four CONCACAF Championships (2005, 2009, 2011 and 2013), including a second-place finish in 2011.
- Qualified Canada for the 2011 and 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cups, becoming the only Canadian national coach to qualify for two U-17 World Cups.
- Member of Canada’s coaching staff at the 2003 CONCACAF U-17 Qualification Tournament, the 2005 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, and the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
- Founder and President of Soccer Is Everything.
- Original member of the Canadian Soccer Association’s Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) Committee.
- Former educator nominated provincially and nationally for excellence in teaching.
With expertise in coach education and male and female player development across all ages and levels, Sean brings a wealth of international experience to developing coaches and advancing the game in Canada.

Takis Zervas
Goalkeeper Coach
Takis Zervas brings 35 years of coaching experience to the Nepean Hotspurs. He first coached with the club in the early 1990s and has since returned, with his own children now playing for Hotspurs. Takis has an extensive background in the game, having played in NCAA college soccer and European academies, as well as both playing and coaching at Niagara University. He has also coached at Laurentian University, bringing a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the development of the next generation of players.

Denys Savskyi
Boys U8 & Boys U9
Head Coach
Denys brings years of soccer experience to the Nepean Hotspurs, having started playing at the age of six. He developed his skills in an academy in Ukraine and has recently begun his competitive coaching journey this year. Drawing on his own playing experience and technical development, Denys is excited to share his knowledge of the game and help young players build their skills, confidence, and passion for soccer.

Dawoud started his footballing journey around 8 years old with Nepean Hotspurs. The Club and his coach, Duane Barker, truly helped him accelerate his development as a player and person. He now plays at the semi professional level in League 1.

Jordan Keddo
Boys U10 Head Coach
Jordan has been part of the Nepean Hotspurs family since the age of four, having grown up playing for the club himself. After retiring from playing, he found his way back to the game through coaching when his own children began playing soccer. Wanting to give back to the club that played such a meaningful role in his life, Jordan decided to share his experience and help create the same positive experiences for the next generation of Hotspurs players.

Daniel is a Web Development graduate from Algonquin College and a substitute teacher at the OCSB. Since starting at the Hotspurs in April 2024, 43% of the players he has coached have advanced to higher-division teams.

Abdiaziz Abdi Diriye

Abdi has been coaching with the Nepean Hotspurs for over three years, beginning in the recreational program before transitioning to competitive coaching. Having grown up playing soccer in Ottawa, Abdi brings a lifelong connection to the game and a strong understanding of the local soccer community. He is passionate about helping players develop their skills, build confidence, and grow through their love of soccer.

Eric started out as just a parent bringing his son for competitive training. He moved on to Team Manager for the Boys U8 team, the Assistant Coach of the Boys U9 team, then Head Coach of the Boys U10 Grey Team.

Andreas Malango

Andreas began coaching with the Nepean Hotspurs in 2024, bringing a lifelong passion for soccer to the club. Having played the game since the age of five and continuing to play today, he brings years of personal experience and a deep understanding of the sport to his coaching. Andreas is passionate about sharing his love for the game and helping players develop their skills and grow as soccer players.

Benedetto Di Bartolo
Boys U12 Head Coach
Benny has been coaching soccer for nearly 30 years across Italy and Canada. He first coached with the Nepean Hotspurs from 2004 to 2009 before returning to the club in 2016, where he continues to share his knowledge and passion for the game. One of his favourite aspects of coaching at Hotspurs is seeing the incredible talent within the club and helping players develop their abilities. For Benny, coaching is driven by one thing above all: a genuine passion for the game.

Ernst has over 17 years of coaching experience. He played youth soccer with CSRDP until the age of 17. He then moved to Orlando, Florida, where he played for Racine FC. After returning to Canada in 2005, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces, where he has continued to stay actively involved in both playing and coaching soccer.
