As stipulated in the Constitution of the Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club (the Club is to hold an Annual General Meeting on the first Sunday in December. The purpose of the AGM includes a review of the Club’s operations over the past year by the Club’s officers, a proposed budget for the upcoming year, and the election of a board of directors.
The 2017 Annual General Meeting of the Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club will be held on
Sunday, December 3rd at 10:00am at 6-200 Colonnade Rd South
The Club is seeking candidates for the Board of Directors with post-secondary education and/or
professional experience in the following subject areas:
- Human Resources
- Sport management
- Child development
Elections will be held in the following order:
- Two Year Terms – Vice-President, Treasurer, Senior Directors, and Director at Large
- One Year Terms – Director–Youth Competitive Girls, and Director–Youth Recreational
Interested parties are invited to send a letter detailing their personal motivations for seeking a position and a resume (or LinkedIn address) demonstrating how their professional and educational backgrounds match the above subject areas.
Nominations to the board of directors are open and must be received in writing by the Chair of the Nominations Committee email@example.com, no later than ten (10) days prior to the day of the AGM (Thursday, November 23, 2017).
All submissions will be acknowledged. All potential candidates will be required to submit to an interview with the Nominations Committee as well as a police records check and volunteer screening.
