Competitive soccer is for those players with a higher skill level who want to compete with teams at a similar level.

Club registration fees go towards costs of fields, referees, league application, insurance, office administration and soccer equipment. 2020 Club registration fees have not been set as of yet but will be available in mid March.
All competitive players are required to purchase the standard Club uniform kit. This includes a red and white uniform set and 2 pairs of socks.
In addition to Club registration fees, competitive teams will also collect team fees related to team operations, tournaments, etc. All team fees will be included in the team budget.
Practices are held at least once a week, while some teams choose to hold two practices, in addition to one game a week. Please talk to the team’s manager or coach to see how often the team will be playing. - Coaches require at minimum a Soccer for Life diploma and a pre-B and or Provincial B license. Regional/DCL/DDL/WDP – certified club appointed coach with minimum Senior and/or Soccer for Life diploma, Respect in Soccer and MED.
Information on COVID-19 – Return to Play Strategy
The Hotspurs will be following the guidelines of Government Health Officials as well as the clubs Sanctioning Bodies (Ontario Soccer/Canada Soccer). For the most recent information on COVID-19 relative to soccer please go here
Summer Training will begin once we have a safe return to play strategy from government officials and our governing bodies. Teams will train 1-2 evenings per week. Training takes place at fields within the Hotspurs area please ask your coach or manager for your assigned fields, field locations are available here
Prices will vary for each team based on the amount of training time, extra training programs such as Top Gun
The Hotspurs Fees are broken down into two categories Registration Fees and Team Fees. Registration Fees are paid to the club which cover facility costs, league fees, additional training and club administration. Team Fees are managed by each individual Competitive Team and cover items such as Coaching Fees, Tournaments and other items such as a team bank account.
